Wow!
What a week that was! We had eight shows on stage from Wednesday morning, never mind the dress rehearsals for the whole school to watch on Tuesday. We started with Santa's Setbacks & The Little Shepherd on Wednesday morning when the P2/P3 & P5/P5 classes started the ball rolling with wonderful acting and singing. It was lovely to see every boy and girl enjoying their time on the stage and the hard work the staff had put in coming up trumps. P6 & P7 then took over with the fantastic Once Upon a Christmas Time on Thursday. The singing and dancing on display from everyone was absolutely brilliant and when we left on Thursday night we all thought it couldn't be topped. But of course, we then had the P1 Nativity Whoops-a-daisy-angel. A proud audience of parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters nearly cheered the roof off the hall when they finished singing Away in the Manger at the end.
Well done to all of the children for their magnificent efforts in preparing for the concerts. Thanks to our staff for their hard work in ensuring we had such brilliant entertainment during the week and for helping everything run so smoothly. And a big thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed the shows with us. Your support is very much appreciated.
