A very busy assembly to begin the second half of the Autumn term. Each class received a special certificate for their work and behaviour during the first half term. P1s received theirs for settling in so well. P2s for being little stars. P3 for their excellence across the curriculum. P4s for beautiful handwriting. P5s for amazing poetry. P6s for demonstrating initiative and P7s for persisting with a smile during a very busy few weeks for them. We are so lucky to have such wonderful children in St Patrick's.
Mr McGrath told everyone about Energy Saving Week NI that starts on 18th November. We will all receive a special challenge during that week. Next week however, is our 'Smarties Challenge' week. Thanks to the generosity of Quinn's Spar & Off Sales, Saul Road, everyone is going home today with their own tube of Smarties. To raise funds for school we want each family to return the tubes filled with 20ps! A little note has gone home with every tube today.
