Good morning -

I hope everyone is still well. The sun continues to shine and you should make the most of this continued spell of good weather.

There have been a number of technical issues over the last couple of days and we hope that you haven't been affected too badly. If you are still having any issues, please get in touch and we'll do our best to sort them out.

Today's Newsdesk article is particularly interesting if you are in P4. P4s read Flat Stanley during the first term and then learned about how our post works. As always they then delivered our Christmas cards around school in December. I've included a couple of photos today. A big thanks to all of our postmen and ladies and to all of those who are still working at delivering. I know that many of you are using online shopping and rely upon goods being delivered. Perhaps you could make a thank you poster for your front window so that they can see how grateful we are when they are on their rounds?

Junior Newsdesk has a delicious article about pizza. Lots of you really enjoy pizza and David from Newsdesk certainly makes a delicious pizza. My favourite toppings are anchovies, onions and pineapple. (I'm only joking!) What are your favourite toppings? If you are trying this out, you could use soda bread for a base instead. Lovely.

While you've been learning at home I've heard that a lot of you are learning new skills. Gardening, painting fences, washing cars, cleaning windows and even another language! Mrs Green has been trying to learn Italian. Eccellente! I've been trying to learn some new skills and my daughter Niamh has been showing me how to use an app called TicToc. I made a little video that might make you smile. If you've any images you'd like to share, please send to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk

Keep checking into your class Seesaw and updating your teachers on what you've been doing. Maith thu! We are so proud of just how busy you are and how much work you are able to do in these very difficult times. Keep it up. Remember to keep saying your prayers and include those who are sick and our amazing carers.

Stay safe.
