Good morning – The middle of the week and the sun continues to shine. I hope you are all well and keeping your routine as best as you can.
Today on Newsdesk the article is about Mission Impossible, making a movie in space. Tim Peake’s interview is really interesting. He definitely loved being an astronaut. Would you fancy it?
Junior Newsdesk focuses on Trolls! Have you seen Poppy & Branch’s movie? It was supposed to have been in cinemas, but has been released online. I’d love to have hair like Branch’s – perhaps some of you have your hair like his at the moment? I might just watch it this weekend.
Healthy Kidz Virtual Sports Day has started, hopefully you were able to get registered in time. Go to: https://tinyurl.com/ycszfmwy for all of the details. Events to focus on this week are the sprint and long jump. Thanks to Caragh & Erin for their photos of sports day practice. Ben has been practising his cycling in his living room. Check out his photo to see how!
Thanks to everyone for your great pictures. I've also seen some of them on Seesaw, but cannot use these on our website. If you'd like to share pics, please e-mail to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk Yesterday’s Afternoon Club was about taking photos using phones or tablet devices. Carrie had some excellent tips on how to make your pictures really pop. I’m going to take some today and I’ll share them with you tomorrow if they work out. Check out Carrie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_Zu3_yD-D8&=&feature=youtu.be
Remember to keep praying for those who are sick or alone and those people who are working so hard to look after them. Pray for everyone who is so busy looking after you and still working to ensure we have everything we need. We are so grateful.
Stay safe.
Today’s joke:
How do you get a squirrel to like you?
Act like a nut. (Should be easy for most of you out there)
