God Morgen/Good morning – Hopefully everyone is staying safe and well. I know that you’re busy. Earlier this week, I reminded everyone to try and keep to your routines. You also need to continue being helpful. We’ve had lots of pictures of you helping out at home and would love to see some more. Like Adam who is saving up to buy a car!

Today on Newsdesk the article is about Denmark. What do you know about Denmark? Well apart from Lego, Hans Christian, The Little Mermaid, Peter Schmeichel (ask your dads), Thomas Bjorn, I don’t know that much. An interesting fact I learned while studying to be a teacher is that Danish children start school when they are 6 and stay at the same school until they are 16! In most schools they have the same teacher during this whole time!!! That would be so cool. Imagine having Mrs Sealey for ten years? Perhaps we should try this in St Patrick's? You’ll learn a few other interesting facts by checking into Newsdesk.

Junior Newsdesk today is about keeping your teeth clean. If you are keeping your routines going, I hope you remember to brush your teeth at least twice a day. You can learn about your teeth, gums and tongue on Junior Newsdesk today. There’s also a little song that is only slightly annoying. You can check it out by searching 'Storybots brush your teeth.'

Keep practising for Healthy Kidz Virtual Sports Day. Go to: https://tinyurl.com/ycszfmwy for all of the details. Events to focus on this week are the sprint and long jump.

Thanks to everyone for your great pictures. I've also seen some of them on Seesaw, but cannot use these on our website. If you'd like to share pics, please e-mail to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk I tried to take some photos yesterday and use an app called Photo Splash. Hope you like them. Can you guess which classroom the pink jacket is in? When we take away colour it definitely makes it harder to guess. Keep plenty of colour in your day!

Thanks to Alex who took some time during her exercise yesterday to pray for all of us with St Patrick and Mary. Remember to keep praying for those who are sick or alone and those people who are working so hard to look after them. Pray for everyone who is so busy looking after you and still working to ensure we have everything we need. We are so grateful.

Stay safe.

Today’s joke:

Why did the chicken cross the playground?

To get to the other slide!
