We took part in World Porridge Day last week and raised some money for Mary's Meals. Caoimhe from the charity sent us the message below:
Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures and information connected to your school’s World Porridge Day Celebrations. It is great to see the children enjoying those delicious toppings and supporting the children of Mary’s Meals in the process.
£50 is an amazing amount raised! As 10p provides a meal for a child , it will help provide 500 meals for children in some of the world’s poorest countries or as £19.15 feeds a child for a year it will provide two children with meals for a full school year plus additional meals for more children.
