The girls played St Malachy's Kilcoo in the Cuman na mBunscol semi-final on Thursday and gave a great account of themselves against formidable opposition. Some brilliant passing, tackling and movement didn't transfer to the scoreboard unfortunately and the girls from Kilcoo join their boys in the county final. Good luck to them!
Mrs McEvoy was happy as her daughter was one of the Kilcoo girls who won. (Well done Leah!)
Thanks to Teconnaught GAC for hosting and to everyone who helped us with lifts etc. Special thanks to Dacey's mum who helped the tears of losing away with some sweet treats after the game. The girls can hold their head high as they played well and have the Sonia Kinsella trophy in the cabinet this year. We're proud of you girls!
