Reading has really accelerated in school since we began using the new Accelerated Reader programme. 
(Remember there's an information session for all parents in the school hall on Thursday 30th November starting at 7pm. Mr Liam O'Hare will be here to explain how P4-P7 parents can access the programme from home and see just how well their children are doing. We encourage any parents from P1-P3 to come along as well, as all of our children will be using the programme when they reach P4.)
Since 8th September there have been 535 books read from the programme alone. This week, we went over the twelve million word mark with a grand total of
12,074,093
words having been read so far! WOW!
Can we reach over 15,000,000 words before the Christmas Holidays?
