P4 have been busy washing clothes the Victorian way so if you have any laundry to do ask a P4. After washing and rinsing the shirt we put it through the mangle, hung it on the wooden clothes horse to dry and then 'ironed' it using the flat iron. Finally we put all the steps in order in the classroom. We even celebrated with dancing to Mrs Jordan's first ever record - 'I'm in the mood for dancing' (not quite Victorian...)
