What a morning! The sun may not have been shining but the smiles were beaming in St Patrick's this morning! Parents of our P4-P7 children were so happy this morning dropping off their children, they were even here before the 8:45 start! The children were brilliant as we knew they would be and even though we had a few nervous steps to begin with, the noise and craic once they got their hands washed and their places taken settled everyone down. Schools are places where so much more than numbers and letters are important. That social element of life that we have all missed so much took a massive step forward this morning and we hope this continues over the following days and weeks. PE and talking and listening are the priorities for this week and we will enjoy re-connecting with the children and reassuring them.
