This week in P1, we were finding out about long and short and tall and short.
We had lots of fun measuring the height of each other with bricks.
We read the book 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and decided to use the Giant's Footprint and our footprints to measure objects around the school. We had lots of fun finding things longer and shorter than the giant's footprint.
We found it very tricky to find objects the same length as the giant's footprint! Mrs McDowell's mug for her tea was nearly the same size though!
