Leaver's Day 2022 has been and gone. Our P7s have said Adieu, Ciao, Au Revoir, Slán. We started the day with Mass in St Patrick's Church. It was such a lovely occasion with the school choir and parents and grandparents there too. Fr Alexander's homily explaine the importance of getting up after any bumps and scrapes and learning from them. He also encouraged the children to remember their 'old' school and not to be strangers there or in the church.
Later in the afternoon, families enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the school hall. Cakes, buns, tea and coffee were enjoyed by everyone as Mr McGrath spoke to the parents and children about some memories of their years in our school. Plenty of highs and lows along the way! St Patrick's has been so lucky to have had such a brilliant group of children and we will certainly miss them. Best wishes for the future to all of them as they move on to their new schools and beyond!
