We had an amazing day on Saturday past when the sun shone (eventually) and our outdoor spaces and community garden were transformed. Our new Polytunnel is almost complete and the new raised beds are in place. The turning circle was transformed and the beds at front of school were weeded and some greenery was transplanted from the back of school to fill them up.
Thanks to everyone who helped and volunteered on the day. The craic was ninety along with the effort and head scratching! Your hard work and time was very much appreciated.
Special thanks to our PTFA for organising, Laura from Bright Floral, Sean & Eileen from Downpatrick Allotments and the lads from Saul GAC who brought some muscle along.
We've a few things to finish up, so keep an eye out for that date and we'll have the grounds ready for Spring!
