Emerald Park
P7s finally got to enjoy the fruits of their labour with their trip to Emerald Park. After the success of their King Koasters business, the decision to use the profits taking the whole class away for the day was certainly a good one! The bus arrived a bit late after going to the wrong school, but it didn't dampen the excitement. Nor did the heavy showers when we got there.
First stop was Europe's largest wooden roller coaster - Cú Chulainn! The wait was worth it and the 32m drop made the screams louder than Cú Chulainn's roar. After that we sampled Dino Dash, Flight School, Viking Voyage, Air Race (upside down for most of it), The Rotator and Endeavour amongst loads more. It was certainly an experience to be remembered. Parents, you definitely have a daredevil in your house!
A 'quick' stop in Applegreen for a bite to eat (and to ensure all money was spent!) was a nice break on the way home.
Thanks to our P7s for being such great fun and a pleasure to enjoy such a great day with. Thanks to Mrs Green, Miss McCullough and Mrs McKeown as well. What's next P7?
