St Patrick's Primary School Easter Raffle: A Sweet Success!
We hosted our annual Easter Raffle yesterday, an event eagerly anticipated by children, parents, and staff alike. in fact the children were almost floating into the hall on a wave of euphoria - even before a ticket was drawn! This year's raffle was a resounding success, with money raised for our three charities in our Lenten Appeal.
Our raffle boasted an impressive selection of chocolate goodies, including Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, and luxurious hampers filled with assorted treats. The excitement was palpable as students, staff and their families purchased tickets, hoping to win one of the coveted prizes.
In addition to the fun and excitement, the Easter Raffle was dedicated to our Lenten Appeal, supporting those in need. During Lent, we fast, we pray and we give. This year, the funds raised will go towards providing essential resources and support to Trócaire, Action Mental Health and Downpatrick Autism Family Support Group.
The success of the Easter Raffle was made possible by the incredible support from our school community. Parents, staff and children all contributed to the event's success, whether by donating prizes, selling tickets, or simply participating in the raffle. The collective effort demonstrated the strong sense of community and generosity that defines St Patrick's Primary School.
Our Easter Raffle was more than just a fun event; it was a testament to the power of community spirit and the joy of giving. With lots of chocolate prizes and significant funds raised for our Lenten Appeal, the event was a sweet success in every sense. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this wonderful cause!
