Sonia Kinsella RIP
We are sure you are aware of the sad passing of Sonia Kinsella. Sonia was a past parent of our school, a driving force in our PTFA and a volunteer who helped with our Reading Partnership programme. She was a committed parent who always helped us in St Patrick’s and no matter what we had on in school, she was either there early setting up, or there at the end brushing floors and putting chairs away. In between she was probably telling everyone what needed done as well! Our Sonia.
In our community she was a link who everyone knew and we were so lucky that she contributed so much - often putting others first. No job was too big, nor too small and often she stayed behind the scenes ensuring everything was running smoothly, avoiding the limelight. She will be sorely missed.
At Sonia’s funeral tomorrow we will form a guard of honour with staff and children (P6 & P7) before and after the service. Children may bring their Saul tops if they wish as well. If you are attending the funeral and would like to join us, we would appreciate that. If you want to take your son or daughter with you to the funeral service, they could be collected from the church and then return to school afterwards.
We send our deepest condolences to Philly, Aisling, Cathal and the rest of the Kinsella and Holland families. Please remember them in your prayers.
