We enjoyed a great day in school earlier. Wearing our festive best, the mood was set from the first bell. When we got to lunchtime the excitement had risen and by the time we were munching on our turkey and stuffing and the big man himself came into the hall, the Richter scale was at 10! Santa arrived to the chorus of, "Here comes Santa Claus," and then sang his own medley of songs - Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Little Town of Bethlehem. The children were reaching a crescendo as he finished and headed off back to the North Pole.
Thanks to Sean from DSC who was helping Santa with transport, as the sleigh is in with the elves being prepared for the big night. Also a big thanks thanks to DSC for ensuring every child in St Patrick's received a sweet treat from Santa. We are so grateful.
