Our first assembly of 2024-2025 was about starting the school year. Mr McGrath talked about the challenges ahead and our thought for the month - "YES WE CAN!" Some of the children shared what they wanted to work harder at this year and a lot of the Primary 5s wanted more homework!
Our new starts were all introduced to the rest of the school, with P1s getting to shout their names out. We all got to welcome Parvan to St Patrick's as well. His classmates have been looking after him so well.
We talked about kindness and respect for each other and it was lovely to share some photos of the children demonstrating this in their classrooms already. Everyone prayed together for our families, our school staff and each other. It was a lovely assembly and felt like the beautiful sun we had outside was also shining in the hall!
