P4 Celebrate St Brigid's Day!

St Brigid's father was Dubthach, a Leinster chieftain.

The priests implored him all night - call her Brigid!

St Brigid loved Spring and helped the sick and poor.

The King of Leinster

St Brigid asked the King for some land to build an abbey.

The King said she could have the land her cloak covered.

St Brigid's cloak grew and grew - she built 2 abbeys!

St Brigid's Crosses remind us to pass on our faith in God.
